God's Heart for Giving

     This narrative will discuss God’s heart concerning money and giving.      We want to know God's heart concerning money and giving. If we don’t know God’s heart, we’re going to listen to man’s heart. And man’s heart will lead us astray because man’s heart is hooked up to money, things, and self. We must know what God has to say so we can discern rightly. 

      Jesus said to us in Matthew 6:19-34 that we cannot serve two masters. We can’t serve money and God. Out of all the things that God might have said to us, why did God say we cannot serve money or God? Why didn’t He say to serve man or Him or something like that? Because love of money is rooted in our hearts! 

      Money or things are the root of man’s heart. That’s why God says, “The love of money is the root of all evil.” There is a ROOT inside of natural man that causes us to turn to evil, but there is also a ROOT of righteous wealth.
