The Berlin Wall in Bible Prophecy

On 9 November 1989, the Berlin Wall was torn down. The Berlin Wall coming down, and the reuniting of the two Germanys would be the event that would bring about the prophesied one-world government. This one world government prophesied in the Bible will be ruled by the Antichrist during the great tribulation. Less than three weeks after the fall of the Berlin Wall, United States President, George H. Bush, General Secretary of the Soviet Union, Mikhail Gorbachev, and Pope John Paul 2, met from 30 November to 1 December 1989, to discuss the future of the world after the fall of the Berlin wall. When they came out of the meeting a new phrase was coined when speaking to the press, “new world order.” New world order is another term for one world government.
